WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP KEEP NETTLEBED POST OFFICE IN BUSINESS

You don’t need  to be told how vital it is that we support our Post Office. Now is the time when you can really help. This information is vitally important so if you do not fully understand it, please go and have a chat with Denise at the Post Office.

If you receive a pension or allowance which you draw at the Post Office, you will receive a letter from the Department of Works and Pensions who will ask for details of your bank account in order that in future your pension or allowance can be paid directly into your account.

If you still wish to obtain your money from the Post Office and at the same time to keep them in business, you can do so by taking the following action.

WHEN YOU RECEIVE THE LETTER, REPLY IN THE FORM AS STATED BELOW AND THIS WILL ENABLE YOU TO RECEIVE A POST OFFICE CARD ACCOUNT.

This is free of charge and you can nominate somebody to act for you if you wish, but you will be able to withdraw your money as before, from the Post Office. THERE IS NO NEED TO STATE WHETHER OR NOT YOU HAVE A BANK ACCOUNT AND NO NEED TO OPEN ONE.
